On spot photography (Solo) (Dark Room)

Rules and Regulations:

1. The competition would be conducted in offline mode.
2. The competition is a team event and open to students from all colleges.
3. Participants can participate in teams comprising of 2-4 people.
4. Multiple teams from the same college are allowed.
5. All the photographs should be strictly taken inside the darkroom.
6. Each team will be given a maximum of 15 minutes inside the darkroom to improvise and come up with a picture.
7. Each team would be required to bring their own props and equipment i.e tripod, flash, trigger set, etc.
8. The participants are requested to bring their valid college IDs.
9. Photo Manipulation, watermarks are not allowed and only basic editing like cropping, basic colour correction, etc. is allowed.
10. The picture should also be enclosed with a caption.
11. Entries should be submitted in JPEG format.
12. EXIF details of the pictures should be mentioned.
13. Any kind of plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
14. The photograph should be submitted through the google form provided.
15. If any participant submits a pre-dated image, he/she will be disqualified on the spot.
16. Lastly, the decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Online Photography (Chitra paheli)

Rules and Regulations:

1. Participants will be provided with a riddle to decode and click a photograph on.
2. The competition is open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students from colleges all over India.
3. Only 1 Photograph per theme is allowed.
4. No watermarks are permitted and only basic editing like cropping, basic colour correction, etc., is allowed.
5. Every picture should be enclosed with a caption/ description.
6. Entry/ entries should be submitted in JPEG format.
7. EXIF details of the pictures should be mentioned.
8. Pictures from phones and cameras are allowed.
9. Any kind of plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
10. Photographs should be submitted through the google form provided.
11. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Short Filmmaking on the spot (The Last Frame)

Rules and Regulations:

1. The competition would be conducted in offline mode and the film should be shot only in the college premises.
2. The competition is a team event and open to students from all colleges.
3. The theme for the event will be released on the night before the competition on the WhatsApp group consisting of all the registered teams.
4. The event will commence at 10:00 AM, the duration to shoot the film would be 4 hrs and to edit would be 1 hr (total 5 hrs).
5. Multiple teams from the same college are allowed. Upto 5 team members are allowed per team.
6. The submission deck is to be uploaded onto Google Drive and the link is to be shared(with access permissions) through the google form provided.
7. The deck should include, Video submission of the short film (1080p, MP4/ MKV format); College ID submission with cast, crew details and a short description (100 words max.) of the submission.
8. The movie should either be in Hindi, English, or both. For movies in other languages subtitles are compulsory.
9. Photo animations, slide shows, remixes, spoofs, and advertisements are strictly not allowed.
10. The duration of the film should be 45 seconds to 3 mins. Teams will be penalized for exceeding the given time limit.
11. Entries from both Phones and Cameras are allowed.
12. Credits for music should be given and no stock footage should be used.
13. Any kind of latency or plagiarism will not be entertained.
14. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Film Making Competition (Cinema Paradiso)

Rules and Regulations:

1. The event would be conducted purely on an online basis.
2. The competition is an open theme and the participants can choose any topics that feels favorable to them.
3. The submission deck is to be uploaded onto Google
4. Drive and the link is to be shared(with access permissions)
5. through the google form provided.

7. The deck should include, Video submission of the short film (1080p, MP4/ MKV format); College ID submission with cast, crew details and a short description (100 words max.) of the submission.
